Position Summary
SCARSI seeks to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented Program Assistant to support the implementation, coordination, and monitoring of community-based programs in Kwali Area Council. The role provides hands-on experience in program management, community engagement, documentation, and reporting.
This opportunity is ideal for a serving NYSC member seeking practical development sector experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support planning and implementation of community outreach activities and field programs.
- Assist in data collection, documentation, and preparation of program reports.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, trainings, and stakeholder engagements.
- Maintain program records, attendance registers, and activity documentation.
- Support community mobilization and stakeholder communication.
- Perform other administrative and program-related tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications & Skill
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (NYSC member preferred).
- Strong interest in community development, public health, or social programs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively within a team and in community settings.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must currently reside (domiciled) in Kwali Area Council, Abuja.
- Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- NYSC members serving in Kwali are preferred.
